I just downloaded the Royale Noir Theme. It’s a secret XP theme, a black version of Royale Skin. Though it has a little bug, still it is a really nice theme.
If you already have windows media player 11, then you’ll know how Royale Noir looked like. haha… I don’t know, I’m speechless. I just love it.
You can download it here.

Update: jaypee is back! visit his site jaypeeonline.
I am using kinja to track weblogs of my favorite writers. It regularly update every time a new entry has been posted. Anyway, jaypeeonline is one of the weblogs I am keeping track of. Recently, I noticed that kinja isn’t crawling his website and is not posting new posts and I started wondering what happened to his blog. Just now, I visited jaypeeonline both .com and tk site but both of them are not accessible.
What happened to jaypeeonline? Hmmm.

What the f! I’ve been trying to connect my jsp program to mysql to retrieve some data but nothing happens.
Last night, I downloaded mysql connector/j, it’s a driver so you could use mysql in jsp. But the problem is how to configure it. There are a lot of tutorials in the web but sad to say they are a bit of old and most of them are not working. I follow the steps but there really is a problem. I don’t know what and that pisses me off.
Please please if you know how, it would be great help for me and my groupmates.
By the way, our project is to create an online faculty evaluation. It’s a web application and we will be using java server pages(JSP) and MySql for our database. I am the main programmer but yeah, I’m not expert with JSP and mysql. We used to use MS SQL server but It eats a lot of memory and it’s not free. MySql on the other hand is free and is easy to use but the problem is on connecting it to jsp or whatever that is.
Again, I need help! ![]()

Got this from mapua makati yahoo groups. An interesting article from Gadgets Magazine.
There’s no denying the importance of technology in the field of education. With the proper programs in place and the right purpose behind them (not technology for technology’s sake), it can make everyone’s lives easier and simpler, and significantly aid the learning process. With the onset of a new academic year, we asked ourselves, “Have our schools gone hi-tech?â€
Guess what? What? Mapua is one of them, yeah right! haha.
Living up to the school’s name, Mapua’s existing technological advancements are by far a cut above the rest. Mapua alumnus and Deputy Director of the Development Office for Information Technology (DO-IT) Reinier Viral revealed that most of its systems were developed and programmed in-house, testament to Mapua’s stature as one of the vanguards in the field of engineering. Its technological innovations are truly remarkable, making that of other colleges or universities, well, to put it bluntly, look like babies.
Oh yeah, It says that they visited four of the top academic schools in the country which includes University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, de La Salle University, and Mapua Institute of Technology.
