While Alex Tew successfully sold every pixel in his Million dollar Homepage and Sacha Chua managed to sell ads on her laptop lid, this mother had her forehead tattooed with a web address of gambling site for $10,000.
Karolyne Smith has to live with a permanent billboard on her forehead after she accepted Goldenpalace.com’s offer of $10,000 for the ‘advertising space’. She needed the money to send her son Brady to a private school.
Karolyne said: “”I really want to do this. To everyone else, it seems like a stupid thing to do. To me, $10,000 is like a million dollars.”
“I only live once and I’m doing it for my son. It’s a small sacrifice to build a better future for my son.”
Karolyne did not take the decision lightly. She discussed it for more than three weeks with her boyfriend Jeremy Williams.
Smith’s eBay auction attracted more than 27,000 hits and 1,000 watchers. Bidding reached $999.99 before Goldenpalace.com, an Internet gambling company met Smith’s $10,000 asking price. Goldenpalace.com also gave her another $5,000 for her trouble.
Another person, inspired by Karolyne is currently auctioning his forehead as ad space on ebay.

Just applied for mydestiny cable internet two days ago thru sir alan of tipidpc. Mydestiny haven’t called us but sir alanyu told me that we are scheduled on august 31, that was yesterday, and subject to delay by 3 days.
We tried applying for PLDTs myDSL but our area is not covered, so we’re sticking to mydestiny and check if it’s good. I’ll post some feedbacks and speed tests when I got connected. For now, am still stuck with this old school dial up.

After hours of uploading and debugging, finally I resolved those errors! I’m good! Actually, the only problem is that the files were not properly uploaded. Stupid me and the internet connection and the FTP program I used. The FTP always disconnects after a span of time. The transfer isn’t stable and really slow. I hate it.
Anyway, I applied for PLDT DSL Plan 999 again for the nth time. Haha and they emailed me again telling me that they are going to check if our line is DSL capable. I don’t know why our line isn’t capable when a lot of computer shops around us are powered by PLDT DSL. Is business line different from home/personal line? I so hate them because I’m living in a city but I feel like I’m in one of those creepy places that still use candles or fires as their lights. Haha
Stop ranting…

Awhile ago I signed in to my Hotmail account which I’ve been using since high school and then this page surprised me.

Yeah! Congratulate me because they reserved a hotmail account for me. WTF! First of all, I’ve been using this account for about four or five years and then they’ll say that they’ve reserved it just for me! Secondly, I didn’t even ask you to reserve it for me! Argh
And Lastly, I’m still using my hotmail account for my MSN Messenger, so why the heck they would deactivate it?

So there, my account was deactivated because of not signing in for at least 30 days. The good thing is that they’ve “Reserved that account for meâ€, which is really funny, and the bad thing is that all of my emails and cheesy love notes from whoever was gone. Disappeared. Removed.
I so hate Hotmail!
They should’ve deactivated my account but not to the point that they would delete every single message in my account. They didn’t even send me a notice.
If given the chance to change it, I’ll do something like this: click here to see the picture.
