Upgrade issue resolved and PLDT MyDSL

After hours of uploading and debugging, finally I resolved those errors! I’m good! Actually, the only problem is that the files were not properly uploaded. Stupid me and the internet connection and the FTP program I used. The FTP always disconnects after a span of time. The transfer isn’t stable and really slow. I hate it.

Anyway, I applied for PLDT DSL Plan 999 again for the nth time. Haha and they emailed me again telling me that they are going to check if our line is DSL capable. I don’t know why our line isn’t capable when a lot of computer shops around us are powered by PLDT DSL. Is business line different from home/personal line? I so hate them because I’m living in a city but I feel like I’m in one of those creepy places that still use candles or fires as their lights. Haha

Back Up!

Back-up! One thing I’ve learned ever since I entered the world of internet. Awhile ago I upgraded the Philippine tennis forum from SMF version 1.0.7 to SMF 1.1 RC2 but something happened after the upgrade. I don’t know what really happened but one thing I’m sure of is that it didn’t work well.

Oh the bad thing is that I forgot to back up the older version. I do have the database but it would have been easier for me if I have that older files. Just like what happened before when my host crashed their disks.
